All my software subscriptions got entered as assets in my schedule C during quickbooks upload. Anyone know how I fix this without losing the deductions?

You may just need to delete the assets and enter the expenses manually. The assets can be deleted by clicking on the trash can icon.

Follow these steps to enter the software subscriptions:

  • From the Federal menu, click on Income & Expenses
  • Expand the menu for Self-Employment
  • Click Start/Revisit next to Self-employment income & expenses
  • Edit next to the business or Add the business if needed
  • Include the expense in Other Miscellaneous Expenses with a description

Thank you! However there are alot of these items (as in every individual credit card processing fee and software subscription fee for the year) and I cannot imagine doing each one manually. Is there a way to do this in groups/batches? Or in a more automated way?
