AGI is not being excepted but it's right.
The IRS rejected your taxes, here’s some help
The adjusted gross income (AGI) you entered doesn’t match what the IRS has on file for you. But don’t stress, you still have a couple of options:
- First, try e-filing again (if you haven’t already)
The easiest way to do this is if you have your original unamendedreturn from last year. Go back into TurboTax and change the number you entered for your 2015 AGI (remember, it has to be the exact number from your return). Enter 0 if you didn't file last year or your return was processed after mid-November. If you don’t have last year’s return you can try requesting a transcript from the IRS.
Still having trouble?:
- Print and mail your taxes
If your taxes are still being rejected by the IRS or you can’t find your AGI, you can always print and mail your taxes.
