The desktop TT had me update before it would let me continue, so it is possible that there might be a bug in the update. Opening from the thumb drive, the hard drive or the cloud causes the same problem. Opening on a fresh copy of TT still has incorrect opening balances on pg. 4-5 of the 1065. I don't want to over-ride the information on the saved copies because next year I have to transfer information to begin my 2022 returns. Is there any solution?
