I was not able to complete my 2024 return and deposited enough into my CRA account to cover any liabilities.
I purchased the standard Premier version from Costco in about November 2023. Costco in Canada sells only online TurboTax, not the desktop version. As expected, I received a licence card, but no disk. I entered the 16-digit code during installation. A major corruption of crucial software in early January 2026 forced me to reinstall Windows. I have now completed the return, but TurboTax does not recognize that I had already entered the licence code and does not recognize it when I re-enter it.
