Accidentally Recieved Stimulus Check

Hi, so I applied for the stimulus check through the non-filers portal (never done taxes before) and did not mark the "can be claimed as a dependent" box, because I thought that since I was 20 and working I was independent. Later on, I realized that I COULD have been claimed as a dependent. I told my parents, and they did not claim me and said i'd be fine. The problem is, as i understand the stimulus only applies to people who cannot and weren't claimed as a dependent. So I was thinking I should amend my form and return the stimulus. So, a few questions here: 1. Am I correct in my reasoning? 2. If there is a second stimulus, would I also return that? 3. Should I wait for the E-file option to open later this summer to amend the form, or go ahead and send a paper amendment? 4. If I don't amend and I just do nothing, am I going to get contacted later in the future to return the funds/correct my form? What is the best route to take here?
