I also have 9001 code and they claim I have to verify.

I called they stated nothing look wrong with my return but was explained somebody said I will be getting a letter he said he don’t see that we should see update Wednesday night or Saturday for the people with 9001 code

I got the SAME response this am. He said i have to wait he doesnt see anything outta the ordinary in my return that its processing

Yes @rach7882 after speaking to three different people lol but I was told the same I asked was any letter being mailed out he said no I told him I was told that and he said oh no I don’t see that it’s processing with nothing wrong

When I checked turbo tax on my comp my est refund  date is 2/14

Guys please dont believe that crock about a letter. I believe that code generally will generate a letter however early filers got hit with it because of a systemic issue. I had the same exact code since 1/19 and I updated over the wkend with a DDD for this wk. If they mailed a letter on 1/31 yall would have received it by now. If you have EIC you more than likely wont have a update until later this wk.

I just called and Da rep  stated  there's nothing  for us to do but wait  because our account  has to be created  first so the wait is 28 days instead  of 21

I filed my regular  w2 with no kids

I filed on 1/27 got accepted 1/28 and I still have this dang 9001 code I have dependents. My dad filed the same time she also has a dependent but he has the PATH message. I've heard that it won't change until you have a DDD OR it's closer to the 15th. My state says still processing too but the message doesn't change no matter what amount I put in. When I called theIRS lady told me she couldn't tell me anything until the 19th  if the message didn't change, and that there is a  lot of ppl with dependents seeing this message
She did tell me mine was processing. I know that this is the 1st time I've EVER had Togo through this. It's aggravating.
