Can I have a 6digit code send to my email
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
Here's the 6 digit code you sent: 260822 Now how do I get into my account??
I AM NOT A NEW MEMBER!!!
@ davetree
The "new member" refers to your use of this user community forum; i.e., a new forum member. This appears to be your first time posting here.
You mentioned a 6-digit code and posted it in this public Internet forum, which doesn't do any good here. We don't know with certainty what you are doing and the context of your question about a code. This is a user community forum--not a direct link to TurboTax Support. No one here sent you the code.
Are you trying to efile a return, and it requested a 6-digit verification code? If so, you have to leave the screen open that asked for the code while you use a second window or a second tab to check your email and get the code (or did you have the code come in a text message?). Then you enter the code in the original window that you left open. If you close that first window, the code will no longer work.
If that's what you're talking about, you can go back to the same screen and ask for a new code. Then leave that window open while you go get the code.
Another option is to leave the original window open, and if you have a smartphone, you can use the phone to check your email to get the code. And then enter it in the window you left open.
Or are you having trouble logging into TurboTax with your User ID and password? Or do you have two-step verification enabled where it emails/texts/phones you a 6-digit code to enter as part of the log-in process?
If so, in this case, too, you have to keep the original screen open while you get the code and enter it.
Again, we're having to guess until you explain more. We can tell you how to phone TurboTax Support, if necessary.
Still waiting

This is an old thread, which is less likely to be seen by the bulk of forum users. If you are unable to solve it with suggestions in this thread, start a new thread with your issue in the title and see if it catches anyone's attention. The title line has limited space, but below the title is a box where you can enter details.
If you are waiting on an email with a code so you can efile, it should have come fairly soon after requesting it. Be sure to check all your email accounts and also look in the spam/junk folders in case it ended up in one of those.
In the meantime, you can check your Account Settings. To do that, log in to Online TurboTax, then go to the left menu column. Scroll all the way down and click "Intuit Account." You can review all your email and security settings there.
Here's how to reach TurboTax Support, if needed:
Hours are 5AM-9PM Pacific (8AM-12 Midnight Eastern), 7 days/week
FAQ: What is the TurboTax phone number?

Or use this contact form. It may provide you a phone number or schedule a call back.

The number expires before I have a chance to use it

If so, you have to leave the screen open that asked for the code while you use a second window or a second tab to check your email and get the code (or did you have the code come in a text message?). All the major browsers can open a second window or a second tab. Then once you obtain the code, you enter the code in the original window that you left open. If you close that first window, the code will no longer work--it will be seen as invalid or "expired."
If that's what you're talking about, you can go back to the same screen and ask for a new code. Then leave that screen open while you go get the code.
