6475 letter

i got a 6475 letter in the mail addressed to me, saying i got $1400. should my wife be getting her own letter address to saying how much she got? we filed jointly thx

The IRS seems to be sending out letters to each spouse. But if you do not receive the other letter, you still have to enter correctly the amount of stimulus you received. The IRS knows and cross checks for the stimulus amount. Answering incorrectly will delay your refund.

If you are not sure that you received $1400 per person then check your own bank records and /or your IRS account.
