401K Rollover

Hello.

I am entering two separate 401K Rollovers into Turbotax.  I have never input this previously.  What section do I enter this into?  Please let me know the process to enter this correctly - so I do not get taxed on the money.  The rollover was from one financial company into another company within two weeks or less.

Thanks for your help.

401K Rollover

If the money was transferred directly from one company to another, you may not get a form 1099-R reporting it, in which case you don't need to enter anything on your tax return. Otherwise, you will get a form 1099-R reporting a distribution. Enter the form 1099-R in the Retirement Plans and Social Security section under Income and Expenses. Look for the IRA, 401(k), Pension Plans (1099-R) section and enter your form 1099-R information. You will see some questions after you enter it to indicate that you moved the money over to another retirement account and that you rolled over all of this money to another IRA or other retirement account on the screen that says What Did You Do With The Money?.
