2023 Turbo tax "File by Mail" page, 1st page on federal returns, is missing on PDF and printed versions

2023 Turbo Tax software issue: The first page "File by Mail Instructions" is missing from my tax return PDF and printed versions. HELP! Does not show up when you switch to the "form" version of the software.

Click on File at the top of the desktop program screen.  Click on Print/Save for Your Records

Click on the blue Print button.  Click on Specific Forms and Forms Only.  Check the box for Filing Instructions

Click on the blue Preview Print Copy button

Is the full Filing Instructions page displayed?

Yes. It is there. But it is not there when the return is saved to PDF nor does it show up when viewing the return in the "Forms" mode.

Also , in the "forms" mode of the return, the forms are listed in a weird order starting with "charitable deductions".

So in the Forms selection window if you choose All Official Forms Required for Filing and click on Print Preview Copy, the Filing Instructions page is displayed.  But if you click on Save as PDF the Filing Instructions page is not included?

If so, that does not make any sense.

Also, when in Forms mode the very first two files should be the 1040/1040SR Wks and the Form 1040.  If your Forms mode does not show that, it also does not make any sense.

Might not make sense but that is exactly what is happening. It is only on the Federal forms. The filing instruction page for the CA state forms is there in the "form" view, in the PDF version and when printed.

And, the first forms showing are the "charitable " deductions, not the 1040
