2023 ip pin straight from IRS site is not working, return being rejected

I used a different tax program last year and don't recall if I used an ippin. I was able to get on the IRS website and looked up my pin (the site says, Congratulations, your 2023 Identity Protection PIN is:). Yet when I file w/ this pin, I am getting a rejection. Is this the pin I'm supposed to use? If not, where do I find the right one? Turbotax says I would have received a letter, but if I did I don't have it.

If you have a 6 digit PIN issued to you by the IRS you need to enter it in order to e-file.  Go to Federal>Other Tax Situations>Other Return Info>Identity Protection PIN and enter the six-digit PIN.
