I own my own business and need to file quarterly taxes for THIS year, 2022. I can NOT find the 2022 schedule C form anywhere. I can find 2021, but not 2022.

You are not going to find a 2022 Schedule C anywhere in TurboTax until next year's software is released. To update your estimated taxes you need to pay this year, go back to that section in this year's TurboTax return and update your projected income and deductions for 2022. TurboTax will calculate your estimated taxes for this year and you can print out new vouchers with the correct amount and pay your estimates from those. Full instructions are here, click on link - How do I generate 2022 estimated tax vouchers? At the bottom of that FAQ, you will find instructions on how to do this for your state return if necessary.
Thanks for your response. I am unclear how to go back and update this. It seems the taxes are done and done. Do I go in and amend it? Do I change the form? Totally don't know how to get things started for 2022.
When you prepare your 2021 return, we'll automatically calculate your 2022 estimated tax payments and prepare 1040-ES vouchers if we think you may be at risk for an underpayment penalty next year.
You can also calculate your 2022 estimated taxes and generate the payment vouchers by doing this:
When I open my 2021 tax return there is no search option. It is a PDF form.
If you want to get back into TurboTax after you've already filed your return you will have to be very careful. DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ON YOUR RETURN. It will change what is carried to next year, and it will not maintain the original if you wish to amend your return.
Log back in your TurboTax account and "add a state" to open the return back up (you are not really adding a state, just to open it back up).
This will bring you back into your return.
TurboTax does offer a tax estimator and will help you to prepare your W-4.
I so appreciate your help. But when I select "Add a State" it gives me this:
Thank you for your patience. To prepare estimates for next year you start with your current return, but be careful not to change anything. If you can't get back into your return, click on Add a State to let you back into your return. Once you are on the page that you posted above go to the search box at the top of the page.
You can just type W4 in the search box at the top of your return, click on Find. Then Click on Jump To and it will take you to the estimated tax payments section. Say no to changing your W-4 and the next screen will start the estimated taxes section.
The 1040ES quarterly estimates are due April 18 June 15, Sept 15, and Jan 17, 2023. Your state will also have its own estimate forms.
