2020 unemployment

In 2020 they forgave $10,200 in unemployment taxes. I was unemployed from August to November but did not receive my payment from unemployment until 2021. Even though I was unemployed in 2020 that income is counted for 2021 income. Is this going to be able to be forgiven now or am I stuck?

Unfortunately, IRS hasn't announced any plans to exclude any unemployment income for 2021 tax returns.  Changes could be made, though, before the 2021 tax return is due.  You are definitely correct that the unemployment income you received in 2021 is taxable on your 2021 tax return, not your 2020 tax return.
