2019 return transmitting problem

I have tried multiple times to transmit my return only to get a message saying that there is a update for my turbotax version that I need to install. I followed the directions and click on the "online" menu and select the update and it comes back that I have the latest software update. It will still not let me transmit. Is anyone else having this problem? Or know of what is the problem?

Thank You

I'm having a variation of the problem.  I'm toldI need to update and I initiate the process, but nothing happens.  The update does not load.

Used a different browser and had the same results. I de-selected my state of Michigan return and the federal return transmitted just fine. Tried the state return again, and I'm back to needing an update that is not there. Paid my state e-file fee and now cant use it.

Same with me.  It's an endless cycle.  I was told Credit Karma is free and better since no issues with transmitting.  This is the last time I purchase TurboTax.  I paid for e-file, spoke to a TurboTax customer service, spent about 2 hours on the phone with representative, and they still could not help.  What a waste of time.

The manual update also seemed to work for other customer and resolve the issue. Download the file, run the updater and try to e-file your taxes again.

I found that if I e-filed only the federal return, it would send just fine. The state of Michigan return would not transmit. I worked with TurboTax for quite some time last Thursday and we could not get it to work. We loaded a different version of TurboTax and did a manual update. The same problem continued. They gave me my $19.99 back, and I will be sending my state return in the mail.

Yes, I had this problem.  I called Intuit and they had me save my tax return, then delete the turbo tax software, then download the Turno Tax software again and reinstall.  The software updated after reinstalling, including a state update and I was able to open my saved tax return file and transmit both federal and state returns.
