Can I file a 2021 self employed return & a 2021 federal tax return

No if you are the same taxpayer. Self-employment is included in the federal return Schedule C and/or partnership SE income and Schedule SE to report self-employment taxes. the SE schedule is generated from entries on other forms of self-employment income.
