 We efiled our returns today but they were rejected  What happened "IND-517-01 - A Dependent SSN in the return must not be the same as the Primary or Spouse SSN on another return where 'PrimaryClaimAsDependentInd' or 'SpouseClaimAsDependentInd' is not checked". My daughter who is 19 went to collage for 4 months last year and live with us for the rest of the uear we supported her. She temporarily moved out at the end of December but moved back in Febuary again. 

 

  Now for what ever reason I can't even reopen my saved TT files to update them or fix the issue. TT acts like it wants to open them but shuts down without warning. I need help. Not sure what to do

To resolve the issue that Turbo Tax will not open, please close out all programs and restart your computer. Once restarting the computer you should be able to open Turbo Tax without any issues.
