You would be better off entering that Form 1099-LTC by hand using the directions below. Answering the questions after the input and assuring it is input correctly will help you determine if any of that 1099 is non-taxable.
To enter that 1099-LTC, you can follow the steps below:
On the next screen, on Long-term care account distributions (Form 1099-LTC), click the start button
Depending on which boxes of the 1099-LTC are checked, when you work through the interview you are asked to enter information for the items that may be taxable. Box 4 may be checked to indicate the benefits were from a qualified long-term care contract. Answers to the narrative questions will determine if the amounts are taxable or non-taxable. The insurance carrier may also provide information on the policy benefits.

On Jan 22, I entered an amount in the 1099-LTC box. On Feb 1, I again wanted to add data to my turbotax 2022 return, after the unavoidable 'Update', all entries that I had made on Jan 22,
disappeared from my Return. I re-entered all entries, except there was no box for me to enter
the 1099-LTC. Why would the Feb 1 'Update' eliminate what was in the Program on Jan 22?
