1099-R Recharacterization from Roth IRA to Traditional IRA

I did recharacterization from Roth Ira to Traditional IRA, of $6500. Now seems the $6500 is added to total taxable income. why is that? It is not right, it is from Roth, should be tax free. Please help

Can you clarify what code you had for Box 7? If you have a code N for Box 7, it will automatically have it as nontxable.
