1099-NEC Preparation for Self Employed Minor

BACKGROUND - I need to prepare several 1099-NEC forms for my 16 yo son who is self employed with online income and expenses. I have Turbo Tax Home and Business disc version loaded and updated. TT gives me the choice of Online preparation and storing of forms and shows eFile as the filing option. I want to choose the other option of Home and Business preparation and store forms on my laptop BUT I still need to eFile the 1099's. That choice mentions filing option of "Print" instead of eFile.

QUESTION - Can I eFile the 1099-NEC through Turbo Tax Home and Business if I choose that Option 2?

No. Only the online Quick Employer Forms lets you efile them. Otherwise you are on your own to print and mail them to the IRS. I only have one to do and I print it on plain paper and mail it. Or you can buy the official red forms and copy/type the info on them. I used to go to a library to type it up.
