I have two different 1099-NEC that I have linked to a Schedule C.
The link is totally functional but the error checking says NO .. it's bad.
I'm stuck. I'm very unhappy.

For now you can delete the 1099-NEC completely then enter this income directly on your Schedule C. The entry of this form is not required to file your return, instead keep it with your tax return files.
This will eliminate your error and allow you to file.

Rather than linking them, you might try entering them as income directly on Schedule C.

1099-NEC Income START or UPDATE
I just tried that by removing the two links and entering the value, but I have to use override which also won't get past error checking.
Guess my only position is to stick them in the non-1099-MISC and non-1099-NEC income slot.
This tool is broken.
My advice would be to delete this 1099-NEC form and re-create it with a new link.
