Received 1099 nec for egg donation but I do not believe I should be paying social security taxes of 15%. I am not self employed nor intend to make a business of this

After you enter your Form 1099-NEC you will see a option to indicate that the money is not earned as an employee or self-employed person on the screen that says Does one of these uncommon situations apply? You need to choose that option and your income will be reported as "Other Income" on your tax return:
