You only need to report the 1099-Misc and expenses under the Business section of TurboTax.
The 1099-Misc entry fields appear in both the business and the personal section because not all 1099-Misc income is business related. If you know your 1099-Misc is from self-employment then you should enter it directly in the business section. If you are unsure you can enter it in the personal section and TurboTax will ask you questions to determine how the income should be taxed.
Since you know your 1099-Misc is associated with your self-employment income just enter the information in the business section and skip it in the personal section
