Your 1099-HC gets entered under on your Massachusetts return. Open your return and click on the State Taxes tab. Start/Continue your Massachusetts return. As you continue through your state tax return, you'll reach a page "Let's Go Over Your Health Insurance Information". This is where you enter the information from your 1099-HC.
So I don't live in Massachusetts, I just get insurance through BCBS of Mass. Do I not need this form? Also, I dont have a 1099-A from them.
The 1099-HC is to file the Massachusetts state tax return. Can you clarify if you have to file a Massachusetts Income Tax Return?
