1099-b

Recently received our W-2, and we're also expecting a 1099-b. The W-2 isn't showing enough federal income tax withheld, but I know we asked for the proper amount to be withheld in the sale of some stock. Will the 1099-b include ADDITIONAL federal income tax withheld?

Yes, most likely.

That said, just because you asked for it doesn't mean it necessarily happened. It should have been documented on the paperwork you got at the time of the sale.
