1099 B Broker Proceeds

Filing a 1041 Trust return and entered summary totals for short and long term proceeds etc. In Prior years Turbo Tax I was able to attach the 1099 B for filing. A note in Turbo Tax said it would prompt me to attach the 1099 B if needed.  Only prompt I got was for the signature page. Since there was no prompt does that mean no attachment is required.

If all of your sales are covered (cost basis reported to the IRS) and you don't have any wash sales or other unusual things, it my be OK to not submit your form 1099-B. Otherwise, you can mail in form 8453 and attach a copy of your form 1099-B if not prompted to do so in TurboTax.
