Will my college student receive a 1098T for tuition if her tuition was reimbursed  by a grant applied by the college?

    Yes, your student will receive a 1098-T no matter how their tuition was paid.

     

    If they received a grant from the university they may not receive a deduction for their education, however.  And it is possible that some of the grant may be taxable.
