I need to enter the amount of gross income and withheld tax from my 1042-S.
Turbotax does not have any options for it.
I called the live support and they told me to use 1099-DIV to report my 1042-S. This does not make any sense because this is scholarship money, has no relation to dividends.
I opened another discussion for this question but the expert gave me instructions that does not work and stopped responding.
Can someone please help me with this question?

Scholarship income in TurboTax is reported in the same area as education expenses. This makes it a little tougher to find!
Here is where you will find it:
Login to TurboTax or open your tax return.
Navigate to Deductions & Credits then to Education and next Expenses and Scholarships. In this section, answer the initial questions about the degree that you are seeking and the name of your school. Indicate NO for the question "Do you have a 1098-T" and NO for "Do you qualify for an exception?"
The program will then allow you to enter the amount of your scholarship and will ask follow-up questions to determine the amount, if any, that is taxable to you.
But this does not work @SusanY1 . When I say no to 1098-T and no to exceptions, I see a button that says add student. When I click it sends me back to the beginning and asks for a 1098-T again.
This is what I see after I click the 'Add a Student' button.
More than one way to do things. Plan B:
For the income:
To enter tax withheld on the 1042-S.
