1041 for Estate with fiscal year beginning in 2022 and ending in 2023

I'm trying to complete a return on the estate of a relative who passed away in September 2022, and the assets were distributed in July 2023.  I would like to use the short FY from the date of death in September 2022 through July 2023 There was rental income from the date of death up to March 1, 2023, and the decedent's property was sold in April 2023. I'm using Turbotax Business 2022, and the software won't permit me to enter the sale of the house in 2023, telling me it must occur in the 2022 tax year.  I understand I won't be able to efile, but how can I get the software to prepare the return for me to manually file?

Make sure you have chosen the correct tax year (as well as the beginning and closing months).

You can also do this in Forms Mode.
