I have entered amounts for a pension and social security but they do not show on the 1040.

How do I get them to be counted for?

Look at a preview of your Form 1040.

https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1901539-how-do-i-preview-my-turbotax-online-return-before-filing

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.

Look at lines 4a and 4b, and lines 5a and 5b

To see how much of your Social Security was taxable, look at lines 6a and 6b of your 2020 Form 1040
