For the last 3 years, when I try to e-file my taxes, I've ended up having to amend and mail my taxes every time to get my refund, because my mom has been falsely claiming me as a dependent. I have lived on my own since May 2017. I ended up filing a report for tax fraud against her this year in roughly early march. My refund did come through and was direct deposited, but I am now wondering - because I was falsely claimed as dependent on my taxes, even though I had it amended, mailed my taxes in along with a fraud report, do you think that all that will interfere with me receiving my stimulus check?
When I try to check the status via the "Get My Payment" portal, it tells me my info doesn't match their records.

Check this website and update your bank information if necessary. AGI is line 7 on your 2018 return and line 8B on your 2019 return. Refund is line 21a of the 2019 tax return. and line 20a for 2018
Hi, this is actually what I'd already done as stated in my post. It keeps telling me my information doesn't match the records despite there being no changes made, and I have been able to get my refunds prior to this.
I also have not had any luck when calling the IRS or TurboTax (it keeps registering my voice as "background noise" no matter how loud or slow I talk. )
Do you have any idea if there's anything else I could try?
@aphileston19 - when you type in your information, are you using the address you gave the IRS when you filed (in case you've moved since then)?
this website, right?

Yep, I am. It just keeps saying, after asking for more info, that my information is incorrect or that my return hasn't been processed yet. Which I know it has, because I did recieve my refund this year.
You are not alone. I too have tried to submit a direct deposit form through "get me payment" and it keeps telling me my figures from my 2018 tax return are not correct. They are only asking for line 7 AGI and line 20a figures. The only thing that is not quite right is that they ask did I get a refund or did I owe taxes. Technically i applied my 2018 refund to my 2019 estimated taxes but there was no option to default to this answer.
@Anonymous - then your 2018 refund was zero... try that.
since you wanted your refund rolled to 2019, isn't your line 20a zero?
yes I tried the zero approach but that did not work. Estimated tax application would be similar to no refund/ no payment option but according to the website it requires a figure.
