Why is turbo tax still allowing me to deduct those job related expenses. I am a W2 employee and do not have any of the allowable positions checked

It is allowing you to enter them for state tax purposes ONLY  if your  state will still allow the deduction.

ok thanks I was concerned because it allowed it for the online version but not on the same filing with the cd version, i just did not want it to get rejected because this was an error.
