Why can't I edit the address for charitable donations?

Try this to see if you can edit your information.  You should be able to make changes.

Log back into TurboTax and go to the Federal interview section of the program.

1. Select Deductions & Credits
2. Scroll down to All Tax Breaks and select Charitable Donations
3. Select Start to the right of Donations to Charity in 2020
4. Under the screen titled Review All Your Charities, you should be able to select Edit to the right of the applicable donation.
5. Proceed to enter the details of your charitable cash contribution by entity as applicable in this section.

I cannot find any way to change an incorrect address on a charitable non-cash contribution on form 8283. I tried deleting it; everything idea I saw on Q & A and nothing works. I am using premier on a desktop, downloaded from CD. Help!!

Please switch to Step-by-Step

Select Deductions & Credits

Scroll down to "Charitable Donations"

Scroll down to "Donations to Charity 2021" and click UPDATE

Click Continue on the screen listing the Charity Names

Click Continue on the next screen 

The following screen should allow you to verify and/or change the address(es)

@sammykud    Since you are using the desktop software:

Mine didn't put the address for the charity on a particularly large donation of Mutual Fund shares ..nor prompt me to do so for some reason this year.

......BUT...

If what was noted above doesn't work...after you've fully entered the non-cash donation using the interview, switch to Forms Mode and enter the address directly on the TTX worksheet form for the particular Charitable Organization you donated to....then that address will transfer to the form 8283.
