Where do I enter charitable donations if I'm using the short form?

2022 federal tax short form isn't letting me enter my charitable cash donations.  Where can I enter them?

There is only the Form 1040 for a federal tax return.  The forms 1040EZ and 1040A were removed after tax year 2017,

Charitable donations for tax year 2022 can only be entered as itemized deductions on Schedule A.

To enter charitable donations -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Deductions and Credits
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Charitable Donations
On Donations to Charity in 2022, click on the start or update button
On Import from ItsDeductible Online, click on the start or update button

Or enter charitable donation in the Search box located in the upper right of the online program screen. Click on Jump to charitable donation

For 2020 and 2021 there was a (up to) $300 ($600 married for 2021) above the line deduction for charitable contributions, for those who did not itemize ("short form")  That was a covid inspired deduction. It is no longer available on the 2022 tax return.
