Where do i enter cell phone expense for self employed

If these expenses are related to the activity that is producing Income, you can expense these items. TurboTax does not have a specific section in the Business Expenses Section so you must place them as Miscellaneous Expenses. You will be asked for a short description and the amount.

Please follow the instructions below: 

1. Log into TurboTax Online and access your Tax Return through the Timeline
2. From your Welcome Page in the upper right-hand corner find the Search Box and type Schedule C (capital Sand C) hit enter and from the search options click on Jump to Schedule C 
3. Then (assuming your business has already been set up in TurboTax), you'll want to click Edit next to your business and then scroll down to the Business Expenses topic on the Your Business summary screen.
4. From the Business Expenses Section you will click on Visit All
5. In the next page you will scroll down to the last option, Other Miscellaneous Expenses and click on Start.

As I mentioned above, you will be asked to enter an short description and the dollar amount. You can enter annual sums if you can group similar expenses.
