Where can I enter a HUD1 Property Tax? I see "Additional Property Taxes Paid," is this it? If so, my Property Taxes paid for 2016 do not add up in the summary.

I have a 1098 for my First Installment Property Taxes and I also paid Property Taxes when I refinanced that don't show up in my 1098, so I need somewhere to input the Second Installment paid.  The only area I see is an area that says "Any Additional Property Taxes Paid".  However, if I enter it there, my summary shows my Total Property Taxes being $305 short.  Why isn't it adding up?  Should I be entering this elsewhere?

Add the two amounts together and enter the sum in the box for Your Main Home.

If the property tax is on real estate, please follow these steps:

  1. Click on Federal Taxes > Deductions & Credits  [In TT Self-Employed:  Personal > Deductions & Credits > I'll choose what I work on].
  2. In the Your Home section, start by clicking on the Start/Revisit box next to Property Taxes.
  3. Enter your taxes on the next screen, Enter the Property Taxes You Paid, in the box - Your Main Home.
