Childcare expenses
Under Federal Taxes, the area for childcare expenses is missing. How do I restore this section?

I don't see a option for, "I'll choose what I work on".

Click on Federal Taxes, then select Deductions & Credits, then I'll Choose What I Work On, then scroll down to the section entitled You and Your Family. The first choice in that list of items is Child and Dependent Care Credit. That's where you'll enter your childcare expense information.

Childcare expenses
Childcare expenses only go on the return of the person claiming the child. A noncustodial parent is not eligible.
See IRS Child and Dependent Care Credit FAQs for additional information.
