When entering my home office information it is asking me the cost of my asset. do I enter in the amount I paid for my home when I first purchased it?

When entering my home office information it is asking me the cost of my asset. do I enter in the amount I paid for my home when I first purchased it?

If the asset is your house, then you would use the price you originally paid plus the cost of any improvements you have done since the purchase.
