you can deduct unreimbursed medical expenses as part of itemizing your deductions. if you take the standard deduction, there is no where else you can otherwise deduct these medical expenses.
please note, only the medical expenses that exceed 7,5% of you income will qualify.
You will not receive a form from anyone. (I think you are confusing the 1095-A with Schedule A)
If you got insurance from the Marketplace you would get a 1095-A. You would need to enter that form on your return.
Apart from that, any medical expense you pay out of pocket is deductible.
Medical, dental, and vision expenses are reported on Schedule A and entered in the Deductions & Credits section.
