2 Questions:
1. WV Form MV-1: After entering data from the letter I received from the state of WV, the "Class" of vehicle entry on the Turbo Tax MV-1 form shows as an error. For example, a car is Class A. I enter A but the cell shows reddish error color. It accepts the "A" but shows the sheet as having an error. In print preview, the MV-1 form looks OK.
2. E-filing WV State Income Tax: When I select Print Preview, the option "all official forms required for filing" does not show the MV-1 form that is required by WV to obtain the credit. The only way I can see the MV-1 form is to use the option "Specific Forms". Will I be able to select "Specific Forms" for E-filing to ensure that the MV-1 form is included in the e-filed return?

1. Enter Class A
2. Check the box that you are filing a federal and this should be included
Thanks for posting the original question since I was about to ask the same thing!
I followed the recommendation suggested by AmyC. However, I don't see the form being included in the final step to file online. Is there a glitch with the software preventing the form from being submitted?
Since I could not get a definitive answer re e-filing of the WV tax return with the WV Motor Vehicle Tax Credit, I contacted Turbo Tax by phone. The tax expert indicated that the return would have to be submitted by mail.
Since the MV tax credit is new, I intend to include the following in the mail-in package:
1. WV tax return
2. Form MV-1 generated by Turbo Tax
3. A copy of the letter received from the state communicating the eligible tax credit
bill2431,
Thanks for the feedback! I followed your suggestions. Turbo Tax should take a look at this issue; many people are puzzled about it. I noticed in the "File by Mail Instructions for your West Virginia Tax Return" the following: "Attach all copies of your West Virginia Schedule MV-1 prior to mailing your West Virginia return". In my opinion, Turbo Tax should also add the following as a reminder: "Attach copies of your state W-2 (Copy 2) Wages and Tax Statement" prior to mailing your West Virginia return.
