US-China treaty exemption 5000 after e-file

I just e-filed the 2018 tax return and has already been accepted by IRS successfully, and only found out the 8833 exemption afterward.

How should I amend my tax return?

After your original income tax return has been processed, and you receive your refund if any, you will need to file an amended income tax return to claim the exemption.
