Updating Form 1098 Property Taxes

How do I update Form 1098?  I put the wrong figure in.

If it was listed on your 1098 Mortgage Interest Statement-

Go to

Deductions & Credits

Your Home

Mortgage Interest, Points, Refinancing, and Insurance 

Select Update

Correct the form

Property tax may also be entered under Property Taxes in the "Your Home" section, but that won't correct the original 1098.

That's for other deductions regarding points. interest, etc.  I need for property taxes which is form 1098.

I'm sorry did not notice your second comment.  So I am not able to correct the amount.  Do I have to start over?

No, using the navigation above will bring you to the original 1098 and there you may correct the box reporting 

Property (real estate) taxes paid.
