....there were some Windows updates that were released last night.

IF those are partially-installed, the Windows updates need to be fully completed before the TTX updates can proceed.

So make sure the Windows OS updates are done....and computer Rebooted....then use the TTX manual updates

My Turbo Tax 2021 was working but now when I click the icon to start it I get the splash screen and then nothing happens. I was going to uninstall and re-install it. Since I purchased from Amazon, I re-downloaded the installation files. However, I was unable to successfully uninstall it using the normal Windows Procedure. I kept getting the error message “No Valid Sequence can be found for the set of patches”. I get the same message if I try to reinstall. I downloaded the superpatch, but when I run it the error message says “You don't have Turbo Tax 2021 installed. Install Turbo Tax 2021 first then rerun this setup for superpatch.” It appears that the program has partially uninstalled. What do I do now. I need to continue working on my taxes because I am out of town with a limited time to help my elderly father-in-law. I ran across one posting that suggests that there can be a problem if there are some Windows Updates that have not been installed, but I ran Windows Update and everything is current.

Hello.  I’m having this same issue.  Were you able to resolve it?  I’m getting no solution from Turbo Tax.  It’s very frustrating.

I have the same exact problem. I tried the manual update "super patch" and it made no difference. I also verified all Windows Updates are complete and it made no difference.

Calling TT support is a joke. This appears to be an application code issue, so support knows nothing about that.

Please try to delete and then reinstall the software.
