The upper age limit was removed only for tax year 2021. For tax years after 2021 you must be under the age of 65.

@iluvyorkies for 2021 ONLY, there was no age limit
for 2022 it is back to the "old rules". Meaning unless you have qualified children (normally under the age of 24 that are your dependents to keep it simple), if you are 65 or older, you are NOT eligible for EITC in 2022.
TT is correct for 2022;
The IRS tool referenced doesn't have the 2022 rules in the tool yet. Using the 2020 rules should yield the correct result as the 2022 rules are the same as 2020
