TT says Home Office Deduction is 0 since Net Profit was <= 0. But NP = $4900. So it seems like this is a bug.

TT reports "Net Business Income" of 4,900 on the page titled "Here's the business info we have so far".

TT also reports "Profit or Loss from Business" of 4,900 on the "Let's gather your business info" page.

So, this appears to be a bug:  there IS Net Profit, but TT disallows the Home Office Deduction.

Yes, everything is up-to-date.  I have since found a work-around.  I was trying to use the simplified deduction of $5 per sq ft rather than enter all the details.  It appears that you *must* enter all the details (insurance, taxes, etc.) before it will allow me to take the deduction.
