Did you print all forms and worksheets?
Here's how to get all the forms and schedules.

I did a trial of what you explained and my TurboTax product worked as intended.
You can deduct the fair market value (FMV) of the stock if you held it for more than one year and the charity used the stock in furtherance of the mission of the charity. When you edited your entries you would see what you entered for the FMV, date stock acquired and date sold, along with the purpose to which the contribution was applied by the charity.
I suggest you look on your Schedule A on line 12 to verify that the value of your contributions is what is being deducted, assuming they qualify for the maximum deduction. If so, then your return will reflect the correct deduction for the donated stock. You will be able to see the Schedule A after you have paid for your TurboTax product if you are working online with the program.
Thomas, thank you for your reply. I learned after contacting online support that while "You can deduct the fair market value (FMV) of the stock if you held it for more than one year and the charity used the stock in furtherance of the mission of the charity" there are limitations. You are charitable contributions are limited to 30% - 50% in some cases. That was the issue I was running into.
In my case I have a carryover to next year but I am disappointed that TurboTax does not display the charitable contributions summary worksheet after taxes have been paid and submitted. I have to trust that the carryover amount will in fact be carried over accurately and completely when I do my taxes next year. This is something that I hope TurboTax will consider changing in future years.
Check the Federal Carryover Worksheet, Line 27.
Marilyn, unfortunately that worksheet does not appear in my 2025 tax package :(

Catina, YES!!!! THAT'S WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR!!! Thank you so much for pointing this out to me. All the other agents before you, while extremely helpful, did not point this out. I was looking for the supplemental worksheets in my federal return..... And didn't find them there so I thought they were not available. Thank you for being the first person to point out where these are! I am one happy camper. Thank you so much.
How do I get to the Print Center for a PREVIOUS YEAR (ie: 2024) so that I can print out that year's return WITH the following documents: "Include government and TurboTax worksheets (optional)"
The same way. Step 3 of the online instructions I posted.
Cantina, I tried that but the additional supporting documentation options only appeared under the current 2025 calendar year.
I'll try it again but I couldn't figure out how to get the 2024 calendar year to show the additional supporting documentation options.
Some feedback for you to give to the developers: they should make it a lot easier to get to Tax Tools (that option does not automatically appear on the left side of my online screen) and easier to get to this additional supporting documentation option without having to click "add a state" (which I'm sure you would agree is not an intuitive thing to do).
Let me know if you still have problems, you might want to try these things too:
Most TurboTax errors happen because the browser is trying to use an old "session" from a previous visit. By clearing the cache or using Incognito mode, you force the browser to establish a brand-new, secure connection with the Intuit servers.
Thank you Cantina for your patience. I cleared my cash and then I logged into TurboTax online via an incognito tab (on my phone) and followed your directions. When I go to the 2025 tab there is an "add a state" option.... But when I select the 2024 button, the "add a state" option does not appear. See screenshots below.
Should I try navigating to TurboTax online via on my Windows desktop next?
See at the very bottom of your screenshot for 2024 next to the expert picture, it says Download/Print return (PDF) - try there.
Good morning Cantina and thank you for your continued attempts to help me. Most grateful. When I click on that button it allows me to download the 2024 return, not the 2024 return with all the additional documentation and worksheets (see screenshot). I'm beginning to believe that maybe you are not able to download all the additional documentation and worksheets for prior years.
Yes, you can download all the additional documentation for prior years. Did you download this and look at it to see if all the worksheets are included?
