Both Federal and State (VA) returns eFiled and accepted on 4/7/2025
I get refunds from Federal & State
On 4/9, needed to ammend to add 1099-INT that I overlooked.
Uses the TT "Amend" function, whih indicates we owe both Federal & State for this change.
TT stated that I could eFile both Federal & State, and the additional tax could be deducted from my bank account.
I saved the new, amended file.
Then it printed a VA Payment coupon to mail in.
My concern is TT stated BOTH can be eFiled, AND, BOTH can deduct the new tax from my bank account.
Confusion point: Deduct from bank, yet printed VA form 760-PMT for payment.
Will VA deduct the tax from my bank account?
Do I need to mail a check with the VA form 760-PMT? Or send VA form 760-PMT wthout a check?

Mystery solved!
I just called Virginia Tax department. They saw my amended return and stated the withdrawal from my bank account is scheduled for tonight.
NO NEED TO MAIL FORM 760-PMT.
Hope this helps anyone else!
If it is a coupon to make estimated tax payments, the program does create them but you do not have to use them. If it is a coupon to mail with your VA tax return to make a payment, it may be just part of the return. You can check the Filing Instruction sheet that printed with your state return and it should have information on there such as when your funds will be withdrawn.
You could also try calling your State's Department of Revenue for more information: How do I contact my state Department of Revenue?
Thank you for your response.
I updated my question to make it clear which form I was told to use.
The "coupon" for payment is actually VA Form 760-PMT -- not the estimated payment forms.
The confusion arises from TT stating VA can be eFiled AND the tax WILL be taken from bank account.
If I am supposed to send payment with the 760-PMT, TT should not have given me the option to deduct from my bank account.
I will call my State to ask, or I may just wait for their action to see if they want me to mail it in.
Thank you!
