Traditional contribution and extension

The IRS has accepted my request for an automatic extension of my 2020 personal 1040 federal tax return to October 15, 2021.

Does this mean that I have until October 15th to contribute to my deductible traditional IRA?

No, you must make the IRA contribution by May 17, 2021, the due date of your original tax return.
