Is the ECN important or needed in order to file?

If you are referring to your Minnesota Certificate of Rent Paid, there is no need to have anything under the ECN.

The Electronic Certification Number (ECN) is generated when property managers/landlords create CRPs in e-Services. If they do not use e-Services, this field is left blank. You do not need the ECN to file.

We have rental property under professional property management. If repairs (not improvment) are completed in Dec, but paid in Jan, are these deducted in 2023 or 2024?
