Stimulus Payment, Treasury Offset

I completed my 2020 Taxes.  When the TurboTax system asked for how much my wife and I received on the first and second stimulus payments.  I entered the full amount of $2,900 for first payment (Couple + 1 Kid) plus $1800 for 2nd payment (Couple + 1 Kid).  My question is that we did not receive the full amount for the first payment as her portion of the 1st stimulus payment was offset by the treasury office for back child support.  We actually only received $1680 something.  Now if I were to include the actual amount received during for the first payment, clearly my return is much larger as Turbo Tax thinks I must not have gotten my full Stimulus Payment and therefore I need a rebate credit.  I could not find any portion of the TurboTax system that had a question like was your refund offset?  Did I do the right thing by not entering what I actually got paid?  I only entered the $2900 as I know the IRS is going to see that the payment was offset and it will look like I'm trying to pull a fast one.  Anyone else in this situation?

Yes you need to enter the full amount for each one even if it was offset.  You still received it, it just went to something you owed.  It was for your benefit.
