Hi There, in the year 2020 my mother claimed me so I did not receive any stimulus and she didn't receive any money from me either due to my age. I was told that stimulus that wasn't paid in 2020 could be paid to you through your tax return. I wondered if I was able to claim my stimulus because I didn't receive any in 2020 due to my mother claiming me or would I get in trouble with the IRS
Thanks!
Zach

If your mom is supporting you, then she should claim you on her taxes. If you are working and supporting yourself, then you should file and claim the stimulus.
I was gonna file myself, I was just wondering if I could get in trouble claiming stimulus if she claimed me last year. Should I have no problems claiming it and receiving it?
Kids grow up every year and join the work force. No problem, the cycle of life!
